Sunday I woke up 10 minutes before I was supposed to leave my house lol...great start. Got ready in a hurry and made it out of my house a little after 9. Luckily the drive wasn't bad and I made it to seymour around 11:30 which gave me plenty of time to unload my car. I left at 12 and made it to justine's baby shower in redding by 1. I was only able to stay for a little over an hour so I just talked to justine lauren and james, had a beer, and watched justine open lots of pink presents haha. Around 2:15 I had to leave to go to the wake :( it was depressing, but also kind of nice because my whole family was there and I saw lots of people I hadn't seen in years. The wake ended at 7 and I went with my family to the colony for dinner but there was a crazy long wait. It took us like half an hour to even get seated and then the waitress was like "just so you know there's an additional hour and ten minute wait for the pizza" so I was like F THIS and made my dad drive me back to my car which was at the funeral home. As much as I wanted colony I had mad stuff to do and couldn't afford to be there for 2-plus hours lol (the rest of my family stayed because my sister had her heart set on colony because she never gets to have it...i still think they're crazy). Got up to seymour at like 8:30 and spent the rest of the evening unpacking the kitchen with pat. Before we knew it it was like 12:30 so we headed back to the house (stopping at wendys for a late night snack) and i was doing a horrible driving job for some reason lol but we made it back to the house without crashing. Went to bed around 1:30.


Got up at like 7:30 and pat and I left the house around 9 for grammy's funeral :( Of course it was sad but it was a really nice service. After the buriel we went to knights of columbus for the luncheon. Then pat and I had to drive back to seymour because we had forgotten my parents' present there...then we went down to monroe for the christmas get-together that we didn't get to have the week before. It was a fun, chill time...opened presents and had leftovers from the luncheon and hung out with the family. Pat and I left a little before 9 and his GPS was screwing up so we kind of went half an hour in the wrong direction, but pretty much made a big circle so we got back to seymour at a reasonable time lol. We were going to spend our first night there, but then we found out they were cleaning the carpets the next day, so we just moved the furniture out of the living room and got out of there because we were tired. Hung out in pat's room and went to bed around midnight.

Tuesday was back to work...we were in the training room all morning and then in the afternoon we got to go back to our desks and take some calls. Amanda sat with me the whole time which was nice, it wasn't too busy so we mostly just talked all afternoon lol. Left work at 4, came back to the house, and started packing up the rest of my stuff to bring back to the apartment. Pat got back at 6 and loaded most of the rest of his room into the van and we were out of there! Got to the new place around 7:30 and spent the rest of the night unpacking...got our bedroom and my giant closet somewhat functional so that's awesome. Christened our room lol and went to bed around 12:30.

I had to be to work at 8:30 on wednesday and my commute wasn't bad at all, it took me only half an hour so I had time to stop for coffee and whatnot before work. Sat with amanda all morning again and then on our lunch break we went to starbucks with lindsay and yola and got some coffee. When we got back we found out that we were closing at 2 because of the snow. Got like 2 phone calls between 1 and 2 and then got out of there! By that point it had pretty much stopped snowing and the roads were mostly clear and I don't really see why they let us out early but hey i'm not complaining. It took me a little longer to get home because of the snow but I was still back by 3. Pat and I made some coffee and did some more unpacking...then we laid down on the couch and took an hour nap haha. Woke up around 5:30 and took like an hour to decide what we were doing that night (it didn't even feel like new years and we had a few options but no definite plans). After much discussion we decided to head up to boston. We left at like 7:30, stopped at arby's, and got to tarryn's around 10:30. Then we all went to george's and just chilled and had some drinks...it was pretty anticlimactic/uneventful, but it was still a nice night. We left around 3 in a cab and went back to donnybrook, pat and i had a snack and then passed out on the little couch (lara and her friend were on the futon).

Despite spending half my night on the floor because the couch wasn't big enough for even pat, I think I slept pretty well haha. We woke up around 10 or 10:30 and tarryn got up shortly after. Drove to george's to get my car and then picked up joey and went out for breakfast :) we were going to go to pour house but it was packed so we went down the street to charley's and got a delicious breakfast. I had blueberry pancakes and bacon and all the breakfasts came with a cocktail from the bar so i had my first bloody mary haha. We got out of there around 1 and pat and i left immediately after. Got home at 3:30 and we were going to be productive and go shopping/bring the rest of the stuff from nick and dan's but instead we pretty much both fell asleep until 6 haha. It was a nice nap, although we probably shouldn't have taken it. When we woke up we drove the van over to nick and dan's and got the rest of our stuff (besides the fish tanks)...it wasn't very fun and my allergies were horrible, but once we actually got everything into the van it took us much shorter to unpack everything once we got to seymour. Spent the rest of the night setting up and cleaning the hamster's cage (pat's desk/office looks awesome, the downstairs is getting better, and my closet is almost done) with a couple breaks to have yummy leftovers for dinner and to shower. It didn't feel late because we had such a late dinner and also because of the afternoon nap. Finally went to bed around 1:30.

Came into work at 9 today...my first real day on the phones! Except I have been here for 2 hours and we have had not 1 phone call. Apparently they just took off a message that we were closed today though, so that probably had something to do with it. It will still probably be a really slow day though. I'm a little nervous but I feel pretty comfortable with everything so I think it will be fine as long as I don't get any weird-ass questions. It's pretty sweet that it's friday...no idea what i'm doing tonight but it will probably involve having a few drinks and more setting up/shopping for the place.
